Meet the Family (Sort Of)

Izzie is a book-devouring gremlin, professional extrovert, and the proud human of Millie, the world's most judgmental quality control dog. As a disabled person, her identity is an important part of who she is, but it’s far from the whole story. When she’s not diving into her latest horror obsession, lost in a novel, or befriending every stranger and stray animal she meets, she’s likely to be found spreading awareness, standing up for justice, or coming up with bizarre DIY projects that nobody asked for but she’s definitely making anyway.

In 2024, she unlocked the power of 3D printing, which may or may not lead to an army of tiny aliens and dinosaurs. Speaking of which—those are just a couple of her special interests, proudly displayed in her ever-growing collection of random tattoos (some of which double as a DIY coloring book). If it’s eerie, weird, or slightly unhinged, Izzie probably loves it.

Our resident goofball, quality control supervisor, and certified couch potato, Millie, is a 6-year-old pit mix who adopted Izzie in 2020 and has been her loyal sidekick ever since. In 2021, she decided to level up and add “service dog” to her résumé, completing her training with flying colors by late 2022. In 2023, when Alex met her, she deemed him worthy of friendship, which, of course, is a big deal. Now, she spends her days ensuring everything runs smoothly from her dedicated chair in the office, making sure no snack goes untested, and demanding belly rubs between her rounds of staring judgmentally. Between all that grueling work, Millie must stay on her toes to ensure Mom doesn’t wander into walls, forget important things (like her keys), or get too distracted by a good book to notice the world around her. With Millie on the job, your order is guaranteed to be triple-checked by the finest canine authority—and possibly a few well-timed side-eye glances.. 

Alex is the guy who’s always tinkering with something—whether it’s a project that could revolutionize the world or an idea that’s just ridiculous enough to work. He’s got an endless supply of energy for making things happen, even if it means diving into the most absurd problems and finding solutions no one else would think of. He’s convinced he’s the funniest guy in the room (and if you’re into dry humor and quirky one-liners, you might just agree), though he’s still working on his stand-up comedy career. When he’s not cracking jokes or building robots that could probably overthrow humanity, you’ll find him watching TV and critiquing snacks like a professional food critic—he’s basically the go-to guy for snack recommendations. He’s the reason the business started—his hard work and dedication keep everything running smoothly. While Izzie manages the people side of things, Alex is behind the scenes, making sure everything runs like clockwork—and doing it all with a quiet confidence that would make even the most seasoned project manager jealous.
